where will i be on 2005.01.03?

My time at the client I’ve been working for since June 2001 is finally drawing to an end. I’m in the middle of the delicate Knowledge Transfer Process™ whereby everything I’ve learned in 3 years is compressed into 5 weeks. I’m having fun with it this time around, and it’s a lot like being back in the classroom once again. Only this time the students aren’t plotting how to steal my Captain Picard bathroom pass once again.

The past week has gotten significantly colder. I took around 3 weeks of vacation back in December 2002 and 2003 back in Houston where the weather is less harsh. There’s no snow. Well, okay, when it does snow in Houston, the poor little snowflake is cinged to non-existence in a puff of smoke as soon as it touches the ground. Texas and Mr. Snow Miser don’t get along no matter what that TV show says.

More in a bit… I’m converting old Quark episodes from 1977 to digital video. It’s good times.
