podcast 11: back to the future the ride

On August 2, 2007 I visited Universal Studios in Hollywood to attend a press conference early in the morning. BACK TO THE FUTURE: THE RIDE was being retired in 30 days, and Universal intended to send the ride off into the sunset with a full blown conference complete with a visit from 100 DeLoreans, Christopher (”Doc Brown”) Lloyd, and Bob Gale who wrote and produced the BACK TO THE FUTURE trilogy. This is my video of the pre-press conference activity outside with the DeLoreans. There I peruse the cars and meet some folks like Gary Weaver II who’s produced what I think is the most screen accurate DeLorean time machine ever. This blog is fairly light on the Super Genius comedy, but I do make some attempt here and there. Check it out anyway because you want to tell me I’m a dork. If you visit the video directly on YouTube (by clicking within the body of the video) you can post comments there to that effect.
