See how President Grant looks green? That’s how I look right now. I bought some Wawa chicken on the way home yesterday. Wawa is a convenience store, not a type of chicken. It didn’t settle well. I can’t remember if I’ve I’d already had my yearly food poisoning incident yet? It seems early. It’s funny what you think about when you’re on a weight training program. ”Oh man! All that wasted protein!” is the first thing to come to mind. Previously the popular favorite had been, ”Oh man! I hope I stop puking my brains out.” How time does change things.

My gym stays open til 11 PM so I’m always able to sneak in a little workout before retiring for the night. I’d gotten the dog walk, eating poisoned food, and cleaning up the kitchen out of the way. My trainer Justin was there and I thought he asked me if I needed a spotter. I was all, ”No, I’m fine.” My hearing must have been affected early on by the Death Chicken because he’d really asked me if I could spot him. Ohhhhh. I realized my mistake and did some spotting. The spotting thing. It’s interesting. You’re there to make sure the other person doesn’t tear off a limb and/or doesn’t get squished.

I bought Season 2 of The Dead Zone this past weekend when I was in Delaware. Comcast doesn’t have USA Network so I’m not able to see the current season and will have to make due with the DVD. I need to make this one last. I’m thinking I can watch one episode a week since it’s well over 800 minutes of content. Wonder Woman Season 1 is now out as of yesterday so that’ll help get me over Dead Zone withdrawal each week. Mmmm. Lynda Carter. I like.

I’m sitting around waiting to see Spider-Man 2 with my fellow coworkers tomorrow (Thursday) night. The anticipation is killing me. It got nearly 100% positive reviews on RottenTomatoes.com. I’m thinking the people who gave it a bad review did so to draw attentions to themselves. If they truly didn’t like the film, then their reasoning is obvious that they’re biased against certain genre of films (e.g. ”If you’re a Spider-Man freak, then…”) or that they don’t like movies that feature real character development (e.g. ”The first half of the movie was just so talky that I …”). See what I mean? I’m reserving judgement until tomorrow. Some of my friends who saw Dodgeball based on my review came back not too happy. I’m like, come on, I told you it was a dumb movie. That’s the point. Did I forget to mention that I’d had two beers before the movie?

And speaking of beer! Pennsylvanians must go to the dreaded State Liquor Store in order to buy any alcohol. You can only buy beer in a case of 24 from there. So what everyone will do occasionally will be to have 6 or 8 guys each buy a case and then split the total costs — and the cases. This way you end up with a bunch of interesting beers. I don’t know what day we’re doing this. Hopefully not today as I’d hate to be left out. I guess this is a perfect example of the thoughts one has when waiting for WebSphere Application Developer server to start.

The countdown to Madonna weekend is drawing closer. Did I mention I’m a member of her fan club? I get a 10% discount off anything on their store. Let me know, man, I’ve got the hook up. [rolls eyes] Check out her site and you’ll see photos from the upcoming show. I’ll see Prince in August. I’m getting my I Love The 80’s™ time in.

While in Delaware I picked up another two Acomdata Rocketpod 160GB external drives. I now have five of these stacked up and only using one USB port. Even though it may seem I have 800GB of space I’m only using 400GB and using the other half for backup mirroring. I need a NAS or a SAN. I’m about to attempt to scan in The Jersey Village Video Yearbook, a few episodes of a failed 1970s television show called Quark, and another local NBC News promo that used footage of me shot in college. The promo was for a series they were doing called ”It’s Tough To Be A Teen.” I think I was 23 when I did that stuff. For some reason ”It’s Tought To Be A Twenty-Three Year Old” didn’t hit viewers with the same impact.
