Avert your eyes if you weren’t expecting to see some dude in his underwear showing off. Funny thing… I noticed in one of my earlier photos that I must have taken the photo early in the morning. How did I know it was morning? Let’s just say I had to use the ”erase” tool in PhotoShop and leave it at that. This is the last photo I’m going to take with my crappy little Sony point and shoot. Tell you what… let me post my review of ”The Stepford Wives” in my next paragraph and that’ll give everyone plenty of time to get averting.
I saw ”Stepford” on Friday night with a couple of coworkers and two other friends, hereto (”HOTTIES”). We ended up having to get reserved seating as the theater was fairly well packed by the time we arrived. This was at the Cherry Hill Loews in Cherry Hill, N.J. You know the one. The popcorn and diet Coke was good. The movie, however, was bland. It felt gappish. Clipped. Cut back. You can tell that it must have been overtweaked at some point. I only heard that there was trouble on the set and lots of delays now that the movie is out. During production I thought everyone loved everyone else. Apparently not. The ending was a little twistish, but I was still left unimpressed. I’d give it a 3 out of 5. I may watch it again if they provide deleted scenes and some commentary. Maybe even some alternate endings. Nicole Kidman, however, I’d… I’d pop my pinky finger back off the bone for that woman. Wow. Matthew Broderick is super cool, as always. He can’t make a bad film. Oh wait. I remember one called ”Project-X” that sucked. He can make one bad film. He’s Ferris Bueller, after all.
Progress… slow, but sure.
