the $35 cup of coffee

This morning I stopped at the Starbucks on 3rd and Arch to grab some coffee. When I walked out I was confronted with the Philadelphia DPS ticketing lady writing me up for parking in a spot that wasn't a spot. I told her she was a real sweetheart and in reply she told me that tow trucks were on the way there. I told her that the tow truck drivers were afraid of me. She told me she doubted that. I told her that they all have pictures of me and avoid me because I'm part of the tow truck driver mafia and they all owe me favors. She then handed me the ticket and said nothing. I looked at the ticket, noticed that she'd put only a single zero in the field where the date goes, and decided that I'd fight this one. I'm going to write a 20 page appeal letter which sounds like a lot, but I'm going to use giant 40pt font and type in all caps. I love authority.
