Where was I? Last week I was invited to go on the radio with Real World San Diego cast member Robin. There's a user on TheRealWorldPhilly.com named Kannon who's been really following the drama closely. The bonus is that he also happens to be the 2 PM to 6 PM deejay on Wired 96.5 in Philadelphia. I had a bunch of other errands I had to run so I took a personal day off on Friday to get my radio time in. Click here to visit the station's web site. I had a great time and Robin was really nice.

Robin was in town to plug her appearance at Coyote Ugly which just so happens to be down the road from the RW Philly house -- and my place. I've been there a couple of times with a buddy of mine from work. I distinctly remember swearing that I would never step foot in there again because it sucked so bad. I guess I'm glad I didn't make a blood oath. We did have a pretty good time for the most part. Robin wore this super slinky little black blouse that completely left too much room for error. How much error? Put it this way, we saw her errors two whole times.

My other highlight of the day happened when I visited the UPS ''Customer Pickup'' location off East Oregon Avenue in a desperate attempt to gain freedom for my latest shipment of Myoplex Carb Sense protein drinks. The Head UPS Delivery Bozo™ had been trying to deliver my stuff after 5 PM all week -- which is so stupid because the condo office closes at 5 and I don't get home 'til at least 6. I got in. I wait in a line. I see people get mad. I see people storm off. It's my turn. I give my little ''We Missed You!'' b.s. piece of paper to the guy at the counter. He asks for my I.D. and glares at it. ''This don't match the shipping address.'' No sh*t, sherlock, I'm thinking. Rather than throw a Super Genius hissy fit, I smiled broadly and claimed that the package had shipped to my business address (which is technically not lying, technically). He nodded and obeyed my command, retrieving my box of muscle building manna. Still... I freakin' *hate* UPS. Tell your friends.
