Wayne's World Parody Video

In the year 1992, I was attending college at HBU and not working, desperate for cash, hungry for the green, starving for moola... I think you get the idea. One of the groups on campus had a 'Make A Skit And Win $' contest. The only catch was that the skit had to be HBU related. As you'll see, I do mention HBU, albeit briefly, before the main interview with Batman. I don't think they had my mentioning the HBU Ghost Dog in mind. In the end I did win $25, the second place prize, and I was able to eat at lunch at Taco Bell for many weeks thereafter.

In the video I play all characters -- Wayne, Garth, and Batman. The setting is in my old bedroom and I taped each character's part one at a time. This was fully scripted and doesn't have as much ad-libbing as BTTF4, although I think my comedy skills have improved (in my humble opinion). I used the same equipment I used 6 months earlier for BTTF which basically consisted of one VCR, a VHS camera with a flying erase head (for clean edits), a CD player, and two monitors. Budget? $13 bucks = $6 for each wig (the Wayne's World cap was something I'd already bought months earlier) + $1 for the plastic nerd glasses. My weird voices and smirks are built in.

All videos required Windows Media Player 9. Need it? Get it.
